![]() You can’t get money because you are unable to plan and deliver a concrete release, so this new scheme solves that. A smokescreen that serves as a mask for your inability to deliver and a last desperate attempt to get a blank check. On top of this, you now introduce a ridiculously expensive yearly payment scheme which has no relation to the real value of your product. Today your version 1 is still beta and you announce a version 2 which which fails to deliver what you promised. You needed more bang to generate buzz and went for a touch version and other irrelevant features. You took way foo long to bring promised new features. With a very slow development pace, time and money go by real fast. #Bitwig studio v1 software#This kept you going, nice.Īfter using the software lots of disappointed users experienced what it really was and sold their licenses. Users were super pissed but hey, the money was already in. A dishonest move that allowed you to get a chunk of money in your bank account. You mislead again your potential users and make them believe it was a finished product. You released version 1 in 2014 in a total rush, called it "a release" when it was actually an alpha, because you ran out of money. You didn't even have a product ready for it. You announced the beta test for version 1 in 2012, which lasted 2 years (?). You started working on this project in 2009. Honestly, I don't think you have a future and I will explain why. You have been consistently lying to your users through all these years, people who are the only reason you are still alive. With this release, which fails to deliver important features you have been hyping and promising for ages and the new licensing model, it became clear to me your company can't be trusted anymore. Your irresponsible and unprofessional attitude force the users to deal with all your mess. You want to convince the world that your "frequent updates" are a good thing in order to show yourselves active and responsive, but it's quite the opposite: you are forced to constantly do updates due to the mediocre quality of your software and the pile of bugs you accumulate along the way. You fix 1 thing and break 3 and you don’t seem to be able to fix them. Still, I really liked Bitwig Studio and waited to jump in when it got more polished, but my experience with it was not fun at all. Your version 1 release was nothing less than an insult. You misled your users and released something that was far from ready so you can get money. I paid you for a finished product but I ended up being your beta tester. I supported you because of the open modular system and the collaboration promised for version 2 release, but now they are not there. I stop using your product, this is the end. I posted this on Bitwig KVR and they bocked me! I might have hit a nerve. ![]()
